Who were the session players for Star Trek TOS?

Post by mrdeacon »

Hi everyone!

Well, I finished Star Trek Next Gen and now I'm on to the Original Series. Is there a list anywhere of the studio musicians who played on the sessions? There is some insane trombone playing going on in those cues. My favorite cue so far is the Season 1 theme song with the very last note being a fat bass trombone blat!

The original movie from 70's the trombones was Dick Nash, Lloyd Ulyate and George Roberts, Jim Self on tuba and in some sessions Bill Booth and Donald Waldrop too... Greatests LA legends... I don't know in the new movie... Maybe Alex Iles, Bill Reichenbach, Alan Kaplan... Maybe
