Why does Cimera’s 55 Phrasing Studies have 60 studies in it??

Why does a mouse when it spins?
Because the higher the fewer.

Because there are only 98 steps at The 99 Steps in Franklin Park, Boston.

But I suspect the real answer is because trombone players can't count. I guess old Jerry Cimera was no exception.

Other way around. I would demand to pay 8.33 percent more.

Maybe 5 of them aren't actually "phrasing studies."

You get to guess which ones.

Because Cimera's numbering uses base 11?

(There is undoubtedly a Spinal Tap - "go to 11" joke in here somewhere.)

Why does the word "Andante" not appear in Barat's "Andante et Allegro?"

It took me about 10 years of playing/teaching out of this book to notice...

All you doctoral candidates out there spring into action and get to the bottom of this mystery!!

You sent me diving back to search my various editions and the only place I see the word Andante is in the title.
Help me find it in the music...please! It has mildly troubled me for decades.
