Jupiter or Carol Brass

Post by walldaja »

I'm thinking of getting a .500ish straight trombone. I'm looking to choose between a Jupiter 1028RL or a Carol Brass CTB-2207. Price is pretty much a wash.

Looking for your opinions. Thanks!

Not sure about reviews on either of those horns, any reason you chose those two? For what I’m seeing price wise, you could get a nice king 2/3b or conn 6h, which are reputable and of good quality(for the most part, every brand has a lemon).

I can tell you the Jupiter XO 1632 (Fedchock) is a really nice horn. Light, too.
