Looking for info on a Hamilton trombone

Post by Kingfan »

There is one listed locally for sale. I can't find any information on the brand, just Hamilton trombone stands. Does anybody know about these? Thanks!

This is the only one the seller posted. I had to ask for the bell pic.

Stencil of Grossman Music in Cleveland which existed from the 1920s up until the 1970s. Grossman was a big conglomerate at one point owning all sorts of brands like Rogers drums. Their brass instruments were mostly student line instruments made by different manufacturers at different times -- aka Blessing, Keilwerth, etc. Your picture looks like a Keilwerth

I found an interesting site. It lets you look up info on stencil instruments, who made what and in what time period.
https://www.horn-u-copia.net/pubtrade.p ... y=Retailer. It backs up the Keilwerth suggestion.
