Parker Dunkel Bass Trombone Mouthpiece

Post by ssking2b »

I just got a Parke Dunkel bass trombone mouthpiece. Stainless steel (implant grade), with a titanium H-coated rim. Excellent piece! No loss of focus at soft volumes, like other stainless steel pieces I have tried, including the G&W pieces. In fact, this is the first stainless steel piece I have ever really liked.

Here is a link to the site:

Has anyone else had any experience with this piece? It's roughly the size of the Marc 105 I have played for years, but slightly different. It does have a thinner rim, but the contour of the rim is exceptionally comfortable to me.

I have a Parker / Dunkel.
Nice mouthpiece
Not my 1st choice for general use
I find the rim dimensions feel smaller than what is listed
I use the 30.00mm as it feels closer to a 29.50( My size) than the 29.50 Houser Rim.

Back bore size is .317 inches (7.44MM) Yes It will play LOUD, and unlike other stainless steel pieces I have played, it will play soft and not loose it's focus.
