Help identifying a bass trombone mouthpiece

Post by steveaward »

Good afternoon. I'm in the process of moving and trying to sell off some bits and bobs of gear that isn't seeing use. I found this bass trombone mouthpiece; it came in the case of a Conn 73H that I am also getting ready to sell (still in the shop getting tuned up, so no ad yet.)

The mouthpiece is silver plate, has a shape similar to the classic Denis Wick shape and has no maker's mark. It is simply stamped 59. I'm primarily a tenor player so no expert on bass mouthpieces but it feels quite large to me, possibly a Schilke 59 knock-off? I've included a picture (which I admit, my cell phone picture taking skills leave a little to be desired).

If you recognize it, please let me know. Also, if you want it, please let me know!
