Replacement slide crook

Post by Sailor22 »

Where can I find a replacement slide crook for a CONN 50H? I have found large and small bore but not the .522 medium bore.
Any suggestions?

2nd MK drawing. Some of their crooks aren’t found very easily but you can order by searching google weirdly enough. I had a .515 one installed on a dual bore recently from them that is excellent. Note that the crook is typically a touch larger than the inner slide bore (closer to the ID of the outer slide iirc?)

You will probably want a crook in the .540" range. Do you know your outer diameter of the crook? M/K makes generic medium bore crooks in .540" and .545" bore sizes. Check page 1 and 5.

Thank you. I found one at MK that will work with 540" bore but with my luck, out of stock.

I'll bet if you ask nicely, they could crank one out fairly quickly.

I'm asking them nicely today to crank me out some rose 42 slide tubes and a bronze crook....
