2B Cut Bell

Has anyone cut a bell on a King 2B? I'm curious about the results. I thought the cut bell might give it a little more core at volume. My horn has had a lightweight slide conversion. At the time I ignorantly thought the lightweight conversion would just improve slide facility (I'm a euph player, so I need all the help I can get), but now realize it has an effect on the sound. I don't really remember how it differs from the stock setup. I've read that lighter bells can benefit from cutting, but haven't seen or heard many examples on the 2B specifically.
