I play bass trombone as well as tenor, small and large shank.
Usually I do with single valve like ybl321. but on some music it's better to use second.

So I am looking for D attachment of my conn 62H Elkhart which has F and E crook now.
Do you have any idea where to buy a D crook or who sell it to me or nice teck to make one for me?

At a time there was something called "The Stauffer D-slide" that was sold by the Horn Guys and fit both the 62h and the 73h. I bought one to fit my 73H. When I several years later asked them to sell me another to fit my 62h I was told they were not made anymore. I asked around but could not find another provider of the D-slide. The solution was to visit Lars Gerdts Music in Stockholm (Sweden) and have him make me a D-slide for my horn. It was rather expensive because he had to make tools and also order the pipes of right dimension from Germany. I think he has saved the drawings and specifications to be able to make more if required. Since you are in Tokyo you probably have a repairman more close to you but I guess Lars Gerdt could make one and send it to you if you can afford it. My D-slide fits perfectly.

Well, if you don't want to keep the E-slide, the easiest thing would be to turn that into a D slide. They would pretty much need to custom bend the whole thing, using probably .678" tubing.

I think if you went to 100 of the top techs for this, I don't think any of them would do this. Not many folks bend tubes unless they are tuba guys or they have to.

Buy a couple of bends and some straight tubes and tada.. a D attachment. Hard part is getting the parts in a reasonable time.

And the ID is somewhere around .593" or so.

Oops... meant .578. but yes now I see that most of the bass attachments have .593 ID. If only it was an Eb crook, then it would probably have the bends needed, and would just need straight tubing added.
