Bullet or ax

Which is most secure and adjustable. The ax handle or the bullet brace?
Thanks

I've owned/used both. Both secure (DON'T OVER TIGHTEN OR YOU'LL SQUASH THE BRACE), I believe the ax is more adjustable. Cheaper, too.

I can't provide much insight on the Bullet Brace, but I had an Ax Handle on my 3047 and there was a ton of adjustability. If I remember right, it came with 3 or 4 different brace options as well.

Note that adding this kind of rest to the brace may change the response of the instrument. I say may, not will; you'll need to attach it and try to know for certain. Why not try the Neotech? It is cheaper and I think has little to no influence on sound and response.
