Trombone Choir music

Post by DrTbone43 »

I have seven or eight trombone buddies who are sick and tired of no rehearsals. We want to gather in our driveways and create music for ourselves and neighbors. Please recommend some places/resources I could go and find music for trombone that is not extremely difficult, particularly in the high register. Most of us play in community bands, big bands, some are former music teachers. We like all kinds of music. from baroque to the Four Freshman.
Grade four or five on the average should be fine. Thanks all, I appreciate the help very much.

Cherry Classics https://cherryclassics.com has a good assortment of trombone ensemble music, available hard copy or pdf. The website is real easy to navigate. They have had nice discounts in place during lock down. It's helping me get through this time period.

Check out Randy Malmstrom's stuff. He has all kinds of Wagner, MAhler, etc. on Cherry Classics.
