FS: Holton 181 Bass Tromobne with Inline Thayers

Hello all,

I have a Holton 181 Bass Trombone with Inline Thayers for sale.

Price: $2000 Firm

Specs:
10" Red Brass Bell (Original to Horn)
Straight 0.562" Single Bore Slide (Original to Horn)
Press fit leadpipe, which I assume is the original
Thayers are Original O.E. Thayers before the patent expired
F/Gb/D Tuning
Horn is modular, but not compatible with any current modular systems to my knowledge.

Horn is the early 1980s.
Valves were put on in 1993.

Horn comes with an old Getzen Hard Case.

Horn is located in Southeastern Connecticut. I am not willing to ship the horn. I am willing to drive a fair distance to meet up with an interested buyer.

What town do you live in, because I am interested. I live in the Hudson Valley in NY, so maybe we could meet halfway somewhere so I can test it out? I really only know Danbury since that's just over the border of NY.

To answer one of the big questions I've been getting, the only reason I am selling this horn is that I am not playing trombone due to a bad shoulder. I would love to free up some space and have this horn be used.

I am willing to ship the horn at the buyer's expense and risk. It will take me some time to get everything together, but it is possible.
