Yeah it makes whatever that person writes show up as hidden. You have to choose to read it.

I used it on one person who only wrote negative derisive stuff and had almost nothing to contribute ever.

I'm far from being a saint, but the guy was driving me crazy.

Yeah, I use the Foe feature a lot. For example, that Posaunus guy... I made him a foe and now I don't see any of his posts! It is great!

Greenbean? Never heard of him?

But honestly, I had never heard of "friends and foes" until today – and have no interest. I have made many dumb and uninformed posts here [this is my first, and only, "social media" venture}, which have (mostly) been gently corrected by other TromboneChatters, many of whom I (perhaps naively) consider my "friends." I don't think I have any "foes" – but if so, I'll ignore them and move on the the next helpful, educational post!

Thanks to all of you for the amazing learning experience you have provided to this old-timer, lapsed but returning trombonist on The Trombone Forum and TromboneChat.

Seems people have fixated on the 'Foe' catagory. I've never used that but I have ticked friends as friends :)

I've used it a couple of times, not because anyone is a "foe", just because I don't want to wade through posts that are either predictable or just too friggin long and/or too frequent. Interesting that you can't put moderators on the foe list.

As a Moderator, I don't put ANYBODY on any of these lists. I need to read everybody's posts and applaud or condemn based on what's the content.

On the other hand, we regularly ban people trying to peddle off-the-wall (and sometimes illegal) products. If you need Cialis, fake passports, or sexy Russian girls, look elsewhere.

Woah, slow down. Surely, Russian girls have some humanitarian value that would justify an exception... :D

So you tried too.

Yes. Mostly Friends that I know personally, and foes that were rude or started bashful threads.
