King "607f" on EBay...smells fishy

Post by ttf_BGuttman »

The pictures are not of a 607, which would have a straight bell brace.  There is some distortion so it's hard to tell if it's a 4B-F or a 5B.  Or maybe it's a Symphony 1480 (wrap doesn't really look like a 4B or 5B).

Given that a 4B or 5B is more valuable, why call it something less desirable?

Four different pics of four different Kings. Have you reported it?

After looking at the pictures once more, one of the pictures is  a King 607.  But at least two aren't, and they are of different instruments.

I reported the listing. I also asked the seller to clarify which OF THE THREE different horns pictured was the listing for.

I asked too, but no response.  Sure sign of a con job.  Lord knows what the buyer will actually get.
