Anyone know what Mangelsdorff set up was the eye test has me thinking King 3b silversonic. Not sure about the MP or the weird string going to his spit valve just curious.

The string is obviously used to empty spit but im curious if he also uses it for effect and if its just a string or more complicated like Nils Landgren"s setup.

I saw him play several times. He just used the string to empty spit. There are German trombones that have a built-in cable for that purpose, with a button on the hand brace and a small tube that goes down the lower slide tube.

Giardinelli 3D.. Albert´s slide was not the original one because of wear...just a plain 3B slide
