Shires Q series specs

Post by Slidemo »

A couple of questions about the Q series. As I understand the parts are made in the US and assembled in China.

So are the bells a stock shires product... I would guess at 1YM/2YM , 1GM/2GM, without having seen one. Anyone know what they actually are?

Likewise with the slides, I would suspect they ship with something similar to a TW47. Same question, anyone know what the spec of the Q series slide is?

Thanks in advance.

I recently saw a thread on Facebook and a worker for Shires said the bells are made in the US but the rest of the horn is Chinese made and assembled.

You wouldn't happen to have a link to that thread or remember what group it was in?
