Courtois 260 vs 280

Post by trommy »

Hi everybody! I was looking for a reliable trombone with good sound around the $2000 mark or below. I came across the Courtois 260, but I was only able to find reviews for the 280. Has anybody played/had this trombone or know anything about it in relation to the 280 maybe??

Yep. Same everything else. The idea was to get the 260 and just upgrade the slide to a 280.

Either one would be good, just depends if you want a large bore or medium bore. These are great horns for the price. Notice the MSRP went up recently but you should be able to find one for less than $1500.
