Leadpipe for tenor with a bass slide
I just swapped my slide on my edwards oft tenor with my half shires half edwards nickel bass slide. After trying a couple different leadpipes im like an edwards B1 but think id like something like a B1.5, might try cutting some length off my B2. My normal leadpipe for tenor is a T3, getting a brassark 42O in copper soon.

Don't cut length off your B2! That will make it play more open and make it closer to a B2.5. It sounds like you want to be in the B1.5 or B2 LONG territory.

A good 50 leadpipe is also a good (for a bass slide, anyway) tenor leadpipe.

Yep, Bach or something closer to the 1 side of things is where I’d start, personally.

Yeah, cutting length off the 1. Confusions
I don’t have any bach pipes that aren’t 42s, i think i’m gonna try the cutting experiment sometime wednesday when i have time. Anyone have experience with that, how much should i cut off in between testing?

Ha, just finished the 42 0 yesterday. Should be getting to you any time. Hope you like it.
