WTB King 3B/F

Post by Geordie »

Any UK based people want to sell me a trigger section I can use on my King 3B, or sell me a sensibly priced good condition King 3B with a trigger?
I have a straight 3B I bought used from Rath’s last year, serviced by them prior to purchase. Could put into some sort of cash/swap arrangement. Love the instrument, need the flexibility of a trigger though.
Extra points for being in the North West of England.
Sadly shipping and other cost make importing unaffordable.

Have you asked Mick about the cost to add a trigger to your 3B or even making it convertible?

Just a thought

Not even crossed my mind but a great idea! I’m going to ask him and I’ll let you know what happens.
Having said that, if anyone has any triggers or horns for sale in UK I’m still very interested.

Well, I called Mick’s place. They got back to me and the cost of parts and labour is about double the value of the horn. Sadly, it’s a no go. Still searching
