Does anyone play a pickett Mouthpiece with the "D" cup?
Any idea what it compares depth wise too say in Bach or Schilke?

I play on a Pickett 1.25 D on bass and a 3M on tenor.

I’d say the deep cup is a little bit deeper than a Schilke or Bach equivalent. The medium cup on tenor seems more comparable to a Schilke depth; I do not know if Bach has an equivalent size and haven’t tried.

Hope this helps!

I’ve only had large shank Pickett tenor pieces with M cups; a two piece 5.5 and a one piece 4. The cups on those were definitely bigger than the cup on a Bach 5G that I have. The depth on the 4 feels about the same as the cup depth on my Schilke 52D. I imagine a Pickett D cup would be in the territory of E cups for Schilke comparisons.

I’m not sure if any of that helps, but I hope it does.
