Hi folks. Just wanted to let you know that my Tribute album is now out for streaming and digital downloads.

That's our sneaky way to make you buy twice! :D

Thank you. I'll PM you and send you a free CD for Apple's attempt to cheat you. :)

Well, I'm thinking of making a sandwich. :D

Actually, having done this, I might start working on an "on purpose" album. This was never intended to be an album, just a get-together with friends to record a few tunes marking the one-year anniversary of my taking up the horn again. It was fun and I was surprised at how far I had come in a year, and that's all it was.

But some of the guys suggested we keep going, so we did. And it turned into making an album. As soon as we were done with it I started thinking about what I would have done if I had set out to make an album on purpose from the start. And a lot would have been different. So maybe I'll give it another try.

I'm just an old lady hobbyist. I probably have no business doing this in the first place. And I am very uncomfortable with putting this out there for others to hear and judge. But I'm never afraid to make a fool of myself, so here we are.

It would be nice if it got me get hired for a couple gigs, though. Not that there's much work here.

Cool!

Please post here when you can get a physical copy released. I guess I'm "old school" in that way. I have a nice CD collection and I like to keep it going.

Dana - To do what you have done is quite remarkable in the timescale really, you have also managed to bring a group of very talented musician's together and had some serious fun playing and recording these charts with them, it's great, I wished I could get in a group like this and have it recorded in such a professional way. Give yourself some credit and don't worry about what anyone else thinks, you have taken the time to show your musicianship to everyone, how many others on this forum have done this, I dreaded putting my own recordings on hear, but I know people are not here to criticize anyone for doing so, some actually may like it. I only do it to keep the old stuff alive :good:

Your musician friends obviously had an enjoyable time, who wouldn't. Just enjoy the moments and don't put too much pressure on a deadline and your group. :D
