I'm looking to buy one for a 1962 model horn. Anyone selling at a sensible price?

I wish you luck, actual Recording weights exist but are extremely rare and pricy, I've watched a very few go on eBay for > $100. An aftermarket music-store-weight could work, just check to make sure it fits the brace.

Contact Chuck McAlexander at The Brasslab. He made a King style 3 piece counterweight for my old 3B. $125 in silver plate. A 2 piece is $80
Excellent work! He can make it to fit any size brace. I'm pretty sure he can engrave it if you want.

I'm trying to keep the authentic look of the horn. I now know that the weight I need is the one that is screwed off center onto the rear brace. |So, I guess I'm still looking but will contact brasslab and see what happens.
