Horn is at my house, so I would have go check. The serial number (no letters) puts it in mid 1960 year. It does not have, the tuning bow guard, which was an option. The bell section is definitely, 1960 or older. The slide section, has a 1960 serial number.

Did they even make 88H's in the 50's? Wasn't it just 8H's and 8H Specials back then?

The Conn 88h came 1954 before that it was 8h special if it had a valve.
