[Event] Mountainwest Trombone Workshop - June 2, 2018

Post by Matt K »

I received this from Dr. Donn Schaefer, Atrist Teacher of Trombone at the University of Utah who asked that I put it up here:
Attached is a flyer for our upcoming MountainWest Trombone Workshop at the U. We had a range of players form 9th grade through professional teachers and freelancers at our inaugural event last year.

Mark Davidson and Sam Elliot of the Utah Symphony will be giving masterclasses. There will be a massed trombone choir for everybody who is there that will put on a livestreamed concert at the end of the day. Instrument demos and a pizza lunch.
Cost is $25
URL to register is: music.utah.edu/tromboneworkshop
June 2nd, 2018 from 9AM - 5PM

See the attached PDF for contact information and more details.

If you want to visit for the day but aren't familiar with the SLC area, I can give you recommendations for accommodations and other things to see in the area.

If you're in the area, or can come into town for this, it's a brilliant workshop. I did the workshop with Donn and Mark last year, and learned so much.
