I played several trombones at TMEA and fell for the Adams- kind of modular- I picked a gold brass bell, yellow tuning slide and yellow single bore handlside with sterling crook. It is being shipped to me. I have played a 2012 Greenhoe for the last year or so and totally love it but eager to try them side by side.
I was quite unimpressed with the Schilke Greenhoes at TMEA
The Adams was priced comparably with the Bach centenial horn
Anyone playing the new Adams?

Re: Anyone playing the new Adams?
I've played them at the last two NAMMs. I like them, and they are priced competitively. I'd like to get one outside the convention hall to see if they actually sound good, since basically all you can really tell is how they respond.
I have a friend with a modern Greenhoe that I would bet is better than any of the Adams I have played, but I have also played some clunkers at the shows from the same company (TIS tenor).
