The Laskey Company was acquired by Eastman and its sub, Backun clarinets (of Burnaby, BC).
Will Backun start making Laskey and Shires mpcs?

Re: Laskey
Branching out their mouthpiece capabilities? Aren't their Shires pieces made by a third party?
If they can get someone half good at producing the Laskey's this can only be a good thing!

Re: Laskey
Most recently, Shires mouthpieces have been made by Pickett Brass. I have no idea if that will change.
