I though I would pass along my very recent "introduction" to Squamous Cell Carcinoma, the second most frequent kind of skin cancer. One of its more popular places on the body for SCC to make its appearance is the lip area. I was "fortunate" to have my tumor in front of my left ear. The surgeon showed me pictures of one on the lip.....it mimics a cold sore. So a word to the wise....get yourself checked by a dermatologist. I believe most people think they won't get skin cancer.

Good Idea I get checked a couple of times a year. My favourite place is the back of my neck when the bands used to wear those stupid peaked caps and you had to stand in parades. Cheers Max
