I'm looking for mouthpiece that combines the rim size and contour of a Bach 5G with the cup shape and depth of a Schilke 51. Any suggestions?

I asked a similar question here a few weeks ago. Doug’s suggestion, in a Skype call, confirmed the written response he made here. Very satisfied with the process.

Thanks everyone.
Just out of curiosity Doug, why the LT instead of the XT?

I used a Schilke 51D for a while. A smaller rim with deep cup - I've now gone onto XT 101 G & H. Did use an LT101 G for a while but now prefer the open feel of the XT series.

Either one would work but LT will give "the rim size and contour of a Bach 5G" as you specified.
XT will have a bigger feel. Maybe you want that.
I recommend my standard rim shape instead of the 5G shape. Nearly everybody likes it better.

Understood. Thanks Doug.

I had Hammond put his 12 rim on a Schilke 51D. His rims are very comfortable. I just got and am liking a 5G at present. Given my 40 Lbs box of reserves, I don’t know how I missed the 5G until now.
A new mouthpiece solves all my playing problems for 6 months. That’s why I buy a new one every 5
