George roberts bass trombone chronology

Post by ttf_wayne88ny »

To the best of my knowledge the bass trombones George Roberts played are, in chronological order:

Conn 70H
Olds P-22
Holton TR183
Conn 110H
Kanstul 1670

Does anyone out there know the approximate dates that he played each of these instruments?

You want to define this as endorsed. He played many more horns then that list but that is the majority of what he endorsed/

George had two stints playing Olds.

Conn 70H
Olds S-22 (TIS)*
Holton TR183
Olds P-22
Conn 110H
Kanstul 1670

* There was a later, non-TIS version of the S-22; not sure if George ever played on that one.

I think the Yamaha maybe came after the P-22...
