The first link is an interview, the second is a day in her life, the next two is her playing music.
She is humble, have lot of music inside, lot for us trombone players to learn and be inspired.

She is amazing.

I first saw her some years ago, accidentally clicked on the wrong name.  Wow.

Some of her videos are superbly done, she must have a really professional crew working on them.

I never listen her live, but she seem to travel a lot and play concerts. I liked that interview where she told its important to develop our own voice. Her attitude seems to be a little different than many other trumpet players. You know that joke where the question is how many trumpet players is needed for putting in a lightbulb. One to actually do it and ten to tell how much better they could have done it.... Image

Anyway this one seem to be different and yes she really make music. She seems to not do so much "circus music" like most other trumpet players do to impress.

I listen to this and think how wrong (and prejudiced) Rolf Smedvig was.

Rolf Smedvig (former trumpet, Empire Brass) wrote a complete article on why women were unsuited to play brass instruments.  Caused quite a ruckus on Trombone-L (back in the old List-Serve days).  I know too many good female brass players on every instrument to let that go unchallenged.

Alison might give Tine a run for her money. Two of the most outstanding brass musicians of all time.
