When I was in high school our town library had an album of the Eastman trombone choir as led by (?) Emory Remington.

I didn't know what to make of it because it didn't sound like how I or any of the trombone players I knew in high school sounded.

I would love to find the Eastman Trombone Choir album!

I have the Manhattan Wildlife Refuge album on vinyl and CD (Wounded Bird Records did a CD release about 10 years ago).

The two Urbie Green 21 Trombones albums are also favorites.

Would like to find some JJ and Slide on vinyl; I have all of their CD and MP3 releases.

This LP contains a performance (with orchestra!) by Henry Charles Smith of Guilmant's Morceau Symphonique

Eugene Ormandy, The Philadelphia Orchestra ‎– First-Chair Encores, Volume 1: Showpieces for Philadelphia's First-Chair Virtuosos

I have this LP but it was a discard from a library and very scratchy.  That's the problem with LPs.

It depends. It can be a part of the charm if only moderately scratchy or less. I had a 'bone album with a slight skip in it. Then I got a newer copy and it didn't have the skip, but I missed it! All depends upon what we are used to and what we have an acquired taste for.
