Anyone have any information on this?
I've recently seen one with Los Angeles engraved on the bell.

Re: Nova Trombone
As I understand the story, there’s some linkage to Elden Benge and Lockie Music Exchange. The Benge factory in Los Angeles was located in (maybe adjacent to?) Lockie, and Nova was Lockie’s house brand.
Kanstul’s S6 leadpipe was described as “Benge/Nova style”.
I’ve never seen a Nova trombone in person, so I can’t really offer any direct observations. It would not surprise me to learn that some Olds parts were used, but I’ve never seen definitive evidence that such was the case.
