I recently acquired a TW47GX slide. Does anybody know what the X stands for?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall that the X has something to do with the tenon... Something about fitting Bach 42 bells better.

Intriguing slide, though!

I think it aligns the harmonics of the slide similar to the tuning slide crooks. So it's more like an older new York horn.

Cool. I would say that the slide does play closer to a Bach slide than the TW47G I've been trying as well. I'm assuming the X is the same as the X for the tuning slides.
