Stop watching a thread

Not sure if this belongs here, but couldn't find a better suited forum for it.

Basically, when you write ina thread, by default the forum start to follow for you that thread. So when you hit "Show new replies to your post it will pop up. But what if you want to stop "watching" a thread in which you posted an answer? What to do? Is it technically possible to unfollow the thread that you don't wanna to see anymore?

I never use "new replies to your posts".  Instead I use "Show unread posts".  If somebody replies to a post I made, it shows up but I also see new posts on other threads.  I tend to look at only the ones that interest me (mostly NOT Classified Ads) and if I know a thread has moved on from what I want to follow I just ignore it.

If you make a test reply and make sure under additional options that follow is not checked, does that work?
