I love my Peter Gane bucket mute - it's got a great sound and can be inserted and removed from the bell with ease compared to a H&B. My only issue is that there's a buzz in many notes above middle C, making it almost unusable and unbearably frustrating. I can't quite figure out what's making the sound - I've tried gluing all the screws that hold the insertion module in place to no avail. I can't for the life of me figure it out.

Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance.

Looking at pics there are lots of potential buzzy places on that! I would search for places where two parts come close together before joining. That's the kind of situation that shows up in my cars, for instance, especially exhaust.
