Happy International Choro Day!

For those not familiar with choro, it's roughly analogous to New Orleans jazz in Brazil, except that it's still a living and developing tradition.

Here's the elder statesman of choro trombone, Zé da Velha, playing Pixinguinha's classic "Os Oito Batutos":
