Hello all, I'm new to the forum.
I was considering purchasing a Conn 6h and would like some help in identifying if indeed it is a 6H
The serial number I was given in 6-HC02 and the slide is stamped 6h
I will also attach a photo.
Any help is appreciated

My 79h has the model and serial numbers stamped on the open end of the slide. You may also see the model number on the bell side of the tenon. I think what you show is the 6h followed by the first part of a serial number. Post Elkhart numbers varied a lot more than Elkhart numbers. Most people want Elkhart Conns.

The only time i saw a designation like that is with a friend's 5G slide/vlave combo.

Piggybacking on this topic, I was curious if anyone has insight on the serial # for my 1965 6H, specifically the X at the end: E18033X. Purchased at the Brass Exchange, Doug noted the X is unusual. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
