Indiana was the student grade Martin. I have a bell from one. Not going to be valuable unless you can prove the instrument was used in the film or the Broadway production.

it has the engraving from the movie production. "Made by RMC for the filming of Meredith Willson's 'The Music Man' by Warner Bros"..

That's more of a question for an expert in movie memorabilia. As a trombone, it's not particularly valuable.

There’s someone on eBay selling a Martin Imperial with engraving that says something like Official Music Man Movie… but it is hard to read. They are trying to get $2500. You might search for completed auctions to see if you can find an actual comparable horn and the price it sold for.

Regardless of what it is worth, it is a cool horn. I had no idea that they made some specially for the movie. They must have assumed that no one could possibly read the engraving on the screen.

Looks like it's "Official Music Man Model", Googling around, I'm seeing quite a few references to Martin instruments with that sort of marking (mostly saxophones, but a few trumpets and trombones as well). What the OP has is something different - it's marked as actually being made for use in the movie.

There was only one. The rest were CGI. :D :

Thanks JohnL. Sounds like they were marketing themselves using their association with the movie.
