I’m building up a bell section, and looking to have a 16M sized goose neck installed, but my tech isn’t sure of the dimensions.

Does anyone have this info? Thanks in advance!

Brad Close might know. I believe he still creates neckpipes for this and other horns. I can’t remember his handle on this forum…

I have measurements of .509 ID at the bottom to .555 ID at the top. Add about .030 to .032 for the OD.
I suspect that horn was from the '80's, probably after they changed and made it bigger, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Doug and Kenneth. I’ve asked around, and am hopeful a few more folks will chime in. I’ll have my 12 measured against those numbers you have, Doug. I bet you’re correct.

Doug is right about the IDs, but the wall thicknesses are higher - more like .020", so ID +.040.

Both pipes end up around 19/32 OD, .555 ID. The "open" starts at .509 ID, the original 8/12/16 starts at .490.

OAL varies slightly, but around 8.25.

Regarding the neckpipes... on the 42 straight horns, does anyone know the measurements of the stock ones vs."M" (open) neckpipes?
