Hi all! I'm not a gearhead by any means and am trying to learn more about different horns. Are there any broader tendencies/characteristics of brands like King, Bach, Shires, Edwards, Lawler, etc. that you think are useful for comparison's sake? I know every horn is a bit different, I'm just curious if there are any generalizations about models/brands that y'all like to go by.

I've heard a few like "Shires small bores play like large bores, just smaller" and am curious if there are any other salient observations folks have about brands.
