I thought I got this link from here somewhere but I'm not finding it in the Forum search. So, maybe I got it from Facebook or something. Anyway, according to the comments this is from sometime in 1986.

I’m fascinated by Doc-the-brass-repairman in that video. Fun stuff, thanks for sharing.

Hello .On this video 20:43 Dr. Donald Reinhardt said that Lynn Nicholson has “V” and that’s why he can play high register all day .
What is this “V” on ambusure?

I believe he is talking about the shape of Nicholson's tongue as he slurs and sustains pitches. Apparently Nicholson uses what Reinhardt called a Type I tongue type.
Brass players who specialize in playing in the upper register often use Tongue-Type One. With this tongue type the tongue spreads and the tongue sides are held in contact against the inside of the upper teeth immediately following the tongue backstroke. The tongue in this position forces the air column to thin down and aids this brass player in producing very fast lip vibrations. Reinhardt did not generally recommend this tongue type, as it typically causes limitations while playing in the lower register.
- Reinhardt, Encyclopedia of the Pivot System, 1973, p. 87
This tongue type, and the V shape Reinhardt is discussing, works well for Nicholson but might not be correct for other players.
