For sale is a Conn 78H trombone bell only. Included is a JW Winter Eastman case.

I believe the bell was made in 1963. As you see in the photos, there are misc. scratches from use over the years. Also, the tuning slide does have a few dents. The case is scuffed on the outside but the red interior is perfect.

The bell plays very well. I recently played Pictures at an Exhibition first part on this bell. The octave leap G, Bflat, and high C were effortless with a rich, focused sound.

The 78H is a medium bore .522 with an 8-inch bell. The bell will not fit on an 8H/88H slide. It should fit on comparable medium bore Conn/Getzen slides.

It's been a luxury having two 78H bells. Figured now is the time to part ways with one of the bells and make it available to someone interested in this well-sought gem. Price is $500 with shipping in the United States included. International buyers welcome but would need to calculate shipping first. Thank you!
