Another amazing horn looking for a home…

Up for grabs is this very fine Williams 4.  How does it play?  Much bigger than you'd think.  Problems?  The lacquer is very softly crazing, which actually looks cool, but is very subtle.

It's a great recording horn, and a beautiful ballad horn, too.  Warm, dark sound and mechanically perfect.  Have a look at the pictures and see what you think.

One more cool thing: It has a custom-made Cronkhite-era Reunion Blues 2-piece bag made specifically for Williams.  Neat!

If interested, make me an offer.

If you are seriously interested (and not simply inquisitive), send me an email.  My email is the first letters of this little poem:

Said you wanted a horn,
Like the one you played when young,
I told you to MAKE AN OFFER,
Perchance you shed a private tear.
Have a tissue, fellow bonester,
Or a box of junior mints.
Remember, the PM system causes much grief.
Never trust in it!

Thanks!

This horn plays much bigger than most would expect.  Rock solid, holds together well at volume, and can still do the "sweet" ballad playing.  And don't forget...custom Earl Willimas 2-piece gig bag made by Glenn Cronkhite...
