If you are interested in pix or more information on any of these horns, please PM or email me. All prices plus shipping. All Conns are from the Elkhart factory. All are used, and most are not perfect.
- Conn Elkhart 8h w/new custom .525" slide, $950
- Conn 30h dual bore 494/507 narrow slide 7.5" bell, no case $350
- Conn 48h bell some dents/scratches (no slide) $350, no case
- Conn 10h widened slide, case $950
- Conn 70h ~1936 dual bore TIS 547/562 single valve bass, no case $1350
- Yamaha 651 .500 bore great slide, rose bell, good case, $700
- Holton TR159 - looks almost new, fantastic player, great slide, dual bore 547/562 9" bell, original case in good condition $1400
- Selmer Bolero w/f - great player, nice sound, case is iffy $650
I'm not a horn dealer or a collector, I just "buy and try" horns, and then sell them on. I'm already losing money or just breaking even at the listed prices, so I'm not trying to make any money at this. I just find myself with more horns than I can play. Some of these have been to the shop since I bought them. All are great players. Some I won't be upset if they don't sell, like the 10h, and the Yamaha so don't bother lowballing me on those. The Bolero is probably the most underpriced, they go for nearly double this price at Dillons, and they play great. The 30h is a usable student horn/big band/combo/trunk(spare) horn. The 8h is a lovely player for those Conn 8h fans wanting something a little more snappy. The Holton is probably the best overall orchestral or band player, with a 5G it is as sensitive as an 88h, but with a 2G mouthpiece, it's a powerful single valve bass.
I may be interested in trades, for a nice 100h or a P24-G.
