Hand slide crook question

What is the difference between a Single radius and a dual radius hand slide crook?
Do they respond differently?

Single radius is like half of a circle. Think Kings.
Dual radius is "squared off," think Bach.

Comparing Edwards crooks, the single radius crook is much smoother feeling, response wise, than the squared bass crook.

Edwards don't offer a single radius handslide crook. The "square" bass crook, and "less-square" tenor crook are not the same bore, so it is not an apples-apples
