I studied with Roy, but can't remember anything he had me practice. I'm writing a tune as a tribute to Roy, and I'd like to quote a couple of his exercises, tongue-in-cheek. Anyone take lessons from him and remember what he assigned? Thanks!

I didn't study with him (wrong side of the country) but I remember having a copy of something called he Main Method. Maybe you can find a copy of it somewhere.

I have a copy of that book (somewhere in my studio). I'll look, but no guarantees! I think I bought it from the Hornguys in LA. I didn't see it on their website, but maybe they will know where it is available.
