For sale is my Shires bass trombone. The instrument is used, but in good condition and includes a Bam classic bass trombone case.
The specs are:
Inline standard rotors
Bell  B11 7YA5 (Curran model)
Slide  Duel bore, yellow brass with nickel crook, 2.5L leadpipe included
Tuning crook  Your choice of either a yellow brass B or C crook

The instrument is in good overall condition with some minor cosmetic issues. There is lacquer loss on the valve section in a few places, as well as on the handslide, though no pitting. There is also a little lacquer wear on one slide tube from the case. The bell has a couple of minor acid bleeds along the rim. There is a very minor ping in a knuckle near the F rotor (any fix would be far worse than the ping). The B crook has a couple of very minor pings, the C crook has lacquer loss along the top.

The instrument is an excellent player, nice full sound that works well in the orchestra. Handslide works nice and smooth, valves are tight.

$3250 with one crook and case, plus shipping. I will include the second crook for an additional $200.

My description of the cosmetic shortcomings of this horn are pretty detailed, I hate surprises. But, the horn is really in great shape and plays well.
I just want to be thorough with prospective buyers.
