Here's another tune I recorded with my pals. Pianist Scott "Scootie" Collard wrote and arranged this for me, and I am very grateful to him. I love the tune. It sticks in my head, but in a very good way.
It's not flashy, and there are no virtuoso performances in it. It's just a romantic little ballad that gives me a dreamy smile, so I thought I'd share it with you, in hopes that you will enjoy it, too. As usual, it is recommended that you listen to it on a good pair of headphones.
Dana Douglas - Trombones
Barry Finnerty - Guitar
Scott Collard - Piano
Ben Kopf - Bass
Jeff Minnieweather - Drums

Uh-Oh! I listened to it on Bluetooth earbuds, instead of headphones as you suggested! They are good ones, though. Lol I wish I had your recording engineer. Sounds like you have commercial value in your playing. Nice tune. Nice playing. This cat liked it. Good doubling, too. Thanks!

I think All your tracks are really great, however, for me, this one is my favorite, Soo warm and relaxing and suits you well, the other musicians are amazing, even that Bass Trombone player Yes I know it is you Dana, but very curious to know what Horn you used, my ears tell me this a Bach 50B3 with maybe a Gold Brass Bell ( I have one also from 1985 ) or maybe a 62H with a nice big mouthpiece.....or should I just shut my big fat trap
Anyway - Thanks for sharing this with everyone.

Good guess! Sure enough, it's a pre-Schilke Greenhoe Bach 50 with a gold brass bell, played with a Bach 1G mouthpiece.
