1965 King 3B Silver Sonic

Greetings Forum Members,
I'll try to be as thorough as possible:
For Sale: 1965 HN White King 3B Silver Sonic. Fantastic condition, ready to play, all original parts, original lacquer with minimal scattered wear typical of a horn this age. One owner before me, seldom played. Gold inside of bell is perfect. No dents, two tiny dings: one on the brace that connects the gooseneck to the bell and one smaller than a pin head on the inner slide (6 inches above the stockings) doesn't affect playing in the slightest. Slide is easily a 9/9.5 out of 10, no wear on stockings. Sterling silver bell, .508 bore (small shank), tuning slide moves freely but with the appropriate tension, original HN White counterweight. Two marks in lacquer from small dent repair in the bell section near the edge, I tried to capture with a couple really close up photos. Comes with original case (handle leather frayed off, but structurally sound. Straps to hold down slide section inside the case are broken), original King 28 mouthpiece, cleaning rod and King marching band lyre. Super resonant tone, you know the one famously associated with these instruments. Spot on intonation and quick response. Own a piece of history, in original condition for $1500-$2000 less than the "restored," "refurbished," and relacquered ones typically listed on EBay.
Shows open and shows close. Gigs begin and gigs end. My loss is your gain.
