"Jump to post" links failing

I've just come across this in doing various searches. It appears that most (though apparently not all) of the "Jump to post" links are failing (for me at least) with an "Information" response of "No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame." I don't see that I have any time frame set. Some of these are for postings in June of 2025.
As an example, I have one post on "Jun 30" that's returned by my search and the "Jump to post" link works. But the next item returned is a post on "Jun 26" and I get that "Information" response about no posts within the selected time frame.
Am I missing something?

I think I fixed this a few minutes ago. Can you try again?

I had the feeling you were busy. ... But my particular problem still seems to be there. It definitely does seem to be imposing some period. I could access one of my own recent postings that was returned in the search, and one from another member from Jul 27. But the next one (from Jun 15) gets the "No posts exist ..." response -- as do any earlier ones.

Apparently I caused this, and I just fixed it. But the cause is a bit odd ...
In the User Control Panel there's a display option for "Display posts from previous days". The default is "All posts". I recently set it to "1 month" -- thinking that would shorten the list of topics I get when I'm looking at the list of new posts -- i.e., I took it to be a mechanism to affect what counted as "new" for a given user.
However, it appears that this affects the display of items that you attempt to access through links returned in searches (and probably more generally). So if there's a result of your search that's outside the range of what you've set in "Display topics from previous days", then when you attempt to access that result (either through the direct link to it or vial the "jump to post" link, it won't be displayed (and you get informed that it's outside the "selected time frame"). So for me, it wouldn't let me see any of the postings it returned in my searches that were more than 1 month old.
I thought that the "Display posts from previous days" restriction applied only to the ... uh ... display of posts as these are displayed when you are browsing the "New posts" list (silly me). But apparently the intent is that it applies to ALL posts -- however you might encounter references to them -- at least if these are accessed in certain ways. I haven't explored the details of this and don't plan to -- since I regard it as an example of demented application design.
But at least I seem to have "fixed" it for myself. Sorry to have derailed you down this UI/UX trough of despair.

Hah no problem, I suspected that what I changed may have had something to do with it. I've been trying to figure out the issue people have with new posts to no avail. Thought they were related!
